About Us

Our vision is:

We want school staff caring for children during a healthcare episode to do the right thing,
for the right reasons in an informed and consistent manner.

The Healthcare Resource for Schools has been developed to support consistency and quality of care provision within the school environment.  There is an expectation within society that the provision of healthcare should embrace current knowledge and be delivered using evidence based or best practice principles, by appropriately trained and adequately prepared individuals.  The provision of care in school environments also needs to evolve and should strive to replicate these best practice principles.

The Healthcare Resource for Schools is developed using knowledge and expertise from a multidisciplinary editorial and advisory team, peak bodies, government agencies, key texts and leading international healthcare repositories.

Each care guideline is developed collaboratively and referenced individually.
